With over 30 years of vast experience in Financial Management, General Management, strategic Business Development, Sales as well as Supply Chain and Logistics, I have worked across all industry levels from grassroots to Executive Management. I have extensive experience in the Sub Sahara Africa region and intimate knowledge of business operations in Nigeria, being based in Nigeria from July 2012 to September 2015, when I was Director and General Manager for 3M Nigeria. During my time at 3M, I successful implemented business processes that accurately reflected sales of ZAR25.2million across the region. Among other achievements, I was also responsible for a reduction in inventory, increased organic growth, and share gain through an in-depth understanding of Customer Business plans. Additional achievements include, but are not limited to the following: • Successfully merged and optimised the Materials Management departments of Stellenbosch Farmers Winery (SFW) and Distillers Corporation when they merged to form Distell in 2000, the 4th largest liquor company globally. • As market leader grew market share by 16% to hold a 64% market share. • Winner of the 2007 Innovation and Commitment to Excellence (ICE) Award and 2010 NOVA Award. • Successfully managed major Oil and Gas projects in Sub-Saharan Africa to meet Customer requirements and internal requirements of profitability, Accounts Receivable, and inventory. In addition to my experience, I possess a drive to succeed in all tasks that I undertake. Furthermore, I have excellent analytical and leadership skills while at the same time being a visionary and strategic thinker. I am confident that the fluency I possess in verbal and written communication will serve as an advantage for this role. I have a solid background in financial and operational functions, which both have played a large part in my professional accomplishments.
