My previous experience as a Payroll Manager for a large multi branch construction company matches the requirements of your position. With more than 20 years experience in payroll of which the last 11.8 years was in payroll management, I am an ideal candidate for your position. Although the management position was with a construction company, I believe that managing a payroll department for different types of organizations is the same, the only differences being the payroll system tool and the company’s policies and procedures. In my previous position I was responsible for the full payroll management function that included staff management, communication with senior and executive level personnel and authorizing monthly and bi-weekly payrolls worth millions of rand. Apart from my payroll management experience, I have excellent knowledge of all the MS Office products, strong problem solving skills, planning and prioritizing abilities as well as a good numeracy aptitude.
