I have over 10 years' experience, predominantly in mine ventilation and cooling, and incorporating meaningful exposure to a diverse range of engineering fields. My work has consisted of feasibility studies, cost optimisation, application of SANS and ISO codes, proposal and technical report writing, and mechanical design, including Inventor, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks, and Finite Element Analysis. I have also led and assisted at project execution phase, finding success in liaising between client, project manager, and design teams, as well as making rapid decisions based on sound engineering principles and strong intuition. In project work I have interacted successfully with both my team, clients, and suppliers, always maintaining an ethical, people-focused approach in seeking solutions. I am confident that my experience and my aptitude for both big picture thinking and attention to detail makes me the ideal candidate to assist you as a freelance or contracted engineer.
