I received a degree in Jewellery design and manufacturing from the Tshwane University of Technology in 2017. I then went on to complete my BTech in Jewellery design and manufacturing in 2018. My BTech focused primarily on using unconventional materials (perspex) to create runway pieces inspired by Elizabethan Ruff collars. I am passionate about jewellery history, often finding inspiration from vintage and antique jewellery. I am an award winning jewellery designer, having placed third for South Africa in the 2016/2017 De Beers Shining Lights Award. I was a finalist in the 2016/2017 PPC Imaginarium Awards, jewellery category. I have experience using CAD/ Rhino 4&5. I can create accurate technical drawings and can create full colour digital and/or hand drawn illustrations. I work well with different types of clients and can easily understand and interpret a design brief. I am very good at problem solving and I have experience working with different materials including silver, gold and platinum.
