I have 34 years of experience as a contracts administrator / quantity surveyor in many aspects of this profession. I have experience as a contracts administrator / quantity surveyor on various construction projects in Southern Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho and have experience in civils, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation and building disciplines. I have experience of working in the public sector (ESKOM), in a professional QS office (Basson & Close Quantity Surveyors, J J Schneid and Partners), with contractors (WBHO, Murray & Roberts and Group Five Oil & Gas) as well as for consulting engineers (Ninham Shand (Pty) Ltd, Fluor, Foster Wheeler, Bigen Africa) and in various fields of the industry, infrastructure, mining, energy, petrochemical and building. •Most of my experiences have been on multi million rand contracts like the NMPP Feeder Line Project, Gautrain, and various major dams, Maguga Dam, Burg River Dam, Clanwiliam Dam and the Lesotho Highlands Project. I have significant experience in multi-level buildings, shopping centers and housing.
