Frederik Strauss has 24years+ Internet experience on IP enterprise networks, managing Network Security, Traffic-Management, QOS, DNS-admin, IP-Addressing-admin, Network monitoring and reporting. In 1996 Frederik was selected to be part of the original 7-member team to develop and build South-Africa's first government owned internet network, (SAIX) "South-African Internet Exchange" , as part of Telkom-SA. Frederik has 24 years of experience dealing with about any type of Network outage and able to fault-find, resolve and mitigate such outages under extreme pressures. Frederik is used to working as part of bigger teams, but is equally at ease functioning as individual. Frederik's solid 24-year internet experience of configuring Enterprise backbones, wireless backbones, VPN, IPSEC, MPLS NNIs, Network security, Bandwidth Management and management of Network Migrations, Network Architecture, makes Frederik extremely versatile as a Network specialist or Senior Network Engineer for any networking organisation.
