I started off as the receptionist and worked my way up to a management position with 1 of the biggest insurance companies in South Africa. Administration and lasting relationships are my strong suits. I decided to start my own consulting company to assist with general training and time management within brokerages. Lock down however started and I was unable to follow through with my plans. I grew a love for essential oils and ended up greating handmade products and started up a website for my goods. Being a start up it is unfortunately not generating the income I need. My children are basically finished with school and after 22 years I have found myself to be single with limited financial support. The last 18 months have shown me that not only is there still so much to learn and explore but that I can adapt very well. I believe in processes because it helps with time management and quality checking. It also assists if a staff member is on leave. I work well in a team but have found that I prefer working alone. I have the discipline to work from home and is not afraid to ask if anything is unclear. I have been on soft skills training and know the value of email etiquette. I am looking forward to a professional work experience in any field.
