My Name is Ravi Nagapah and I have been in the retail industry for the past 20 years. I have been employed with the Edgar's group for 12 years and have been a Store Manager. My duties on a daily bases is ensure the business is profitable and in achieving that I had to have the following skills and processes in place. * Recruiting staff who has the drive, hunger and passion for retail. Employ with good excellent character. * On the job coaching and developing staff. * Discipline in terms of corrective action taken on non performing staff. * Allow staff to own their department. * Allow staff to give inputs to grow the business. * Ensure shrinkage at its lowest level. * Replenishment process must be in place on a daily bases. * Bankjng to be done daily and signed off by a manager.
