I am a Junior Millwright who trained at Transnet School of Engineering. I gained work experience by doing on the job training and building training equipment in between my modules during the 3 year period of the apprenticeship. I have experience in preventative maintenance in mechanical and electrical systems, electro pneumatics including hydraulics, AC Drives and overall troubleshooting. PLC programming and fault finding is also part of my experience. Regarding my knowledge and skills I am still willing to learn more and gain more experience in the automation field including robotic systems and its maintenance procedures. Becoming a Millwright (Electro-Mechanician) has always been my passion since college, studying mechatronics engineering gave me the upper hand into becoming a skilled modern Millwright that can keep up with modern technology since mechatronics consists of a triple combined trade that is vast and diverse. Being the best in my field is what I strive for and growing more in this field is my goal. I am a hardworking, motivated, team player and reliable individual who is always up for new challenges and opportunities.
