I have vast experience in the legal field, having worked in Intellectual Property Law for 17 years, this experience has stood me in good stead to combine management, administration and people skills to promote my career in the training and development industry. My focus though, has always been in management skills and training. Teaching is my passion; I love the interaction with people, connecting and making a difference, no matter how small. I am also a firm believer that sometimes people just need to be reminded of their own potential. I am a conversant, business skills facilitator and assessor. I have a sound understanding of the required traits for workplace success and a strong ability to train employees in improving their skills that benefit both the organisation and the employee. My facilitation style is that of creating memorable learning for participants. My facilitation and assessment experience are mostly in business administration, generic management and project management learnership qualifications. I also enjoy facilitating on various soft skills training such as cultural diversity, time management, customer service and business etiquette. I custom design training material according to the organisation’s requirements. Working closely with SME’s and employees to develop effective and relevant training material that can be utilised in the organisation. The intention when designing training material is that employees can apply these skills learnt in their current roles. I am a nominated skills development facilitator for various organisations, assisting clients to complete their annual WSP and ATR submissions. Acting as an intermediary between clients, committees, DoL and relevant Seta's. I assist with the planning, implementation and monitoring of training interventions in organisations. I firmly believe in the philosophy, that good relationships make for good business and I put a strong focus on the importance of relationships in the workplace.
