I have extensive construction project management experience. I am fully computer literate and as you will see from my attached CV I have been involved in a considerable amount of projects from proposals stages through to commissioning and final hand over to clients. I have extensive experience with mining industry for the construction commissioning and final handover to clients of mineral process plants in the Gold Mining, Coal Mining, Uranium Mining Nickle Mining. Platinum Mining, Vanadium Pentoxide plants for Vanadium Mining. Rare Earths Process plants. I have extensive experience with Water, Wastewater, Effluent and Sewerage treatment plant proposals, Engineering, Project and Construction Management. I have supervised construction of coal fired boilers at power stations in South Africa and installed stacker reclaimers and conveyor systems for supply of coal to boilers. I supervised construction of Coal Bark and Recovery Boilers at SAPPI Ngodwana Paper Mill Expansion project which produced electrical power for the plant. I also have installed demineralised water treatment and condensate recovery plants at power stations. My main site responsibilities have been the establishment of construction management teams through all disciplines, management of the internal site team. Management of multi discipline subcontractors to establish coordination and required progress from each of the contractors. Chairing and preparation of meeting reports, management of technical query system, ensure document control system is established and managed, expediting of engineering deliverables and equipment from suppliers. Cost control against approved construction budget, control of site instructions and additional works claims. Management of contractors against agreed contractual deliverables. Management of health safety and environmental requirements. Management of quality control systems against agreed quality control plans. Preparation and issue of work pack documentation, production of work method statement documentation and management of activities against method statements, hazard investigation and risk analysis documentation.
