• I have obtained my LLB-degree through the University of South Africa (UNISA). • I am an admitted attorney and conveyancer. • I have obtained my BSC Medical Science degree at the University of Pretoria. • I finished my Honours in BSc Pharmacology at the North-West University. • I have good computer skills and have completed a Damelin course in MS Office as well as an advance course in Excel. I am currently an admitted attorney practicing for almost 8 years as an attorney, conveyancer and partner at a firm in the Western Cape. My daily duties include consulting with clients, drafting of various conveyance documents, liaising with estate agents, purchasers and sellers. I also assist in drafting and reviewing of other contracts, researching, advising clients and handling of all relevant legal queries, litigation in civil, criminal and children court matters as well as legal correspondence. I also assist in the debt collection department, drafting of wills, and estates. While I was studying towards my legal degree I worked for almost 7 years in the pharmaceutical and medical industry. I worked mainly as a Medical Sales Executive as well as a Trainer. I got exposed to private and government health care, labour matters as well as the training of employees on all matters concerned. I had to identify my clients’ needs and maintain and built relationships. I had to analyse results and implement action plans to drive specific identified issues I also acted as Deputy-Editor for Anatomy Publishing and Partners doing freelance medical writing work. Through this I learned to evaluate and interpret information as well as gaining excellent written and verbal skills. While I was a student I did some part-time jobs including Data-capturing for IMS and compiling data for various pharmaceutical companies, Quality Control at ABBOTT-Murex Laboratory. I worked in the laboratory at CRC (Clinical Research Centre) in Pretoria where various drugs were enrolled in studies. Dedication and hard work appeals to my sense of discipline, responsibility and high energy levels. I am willing to make sacrifices to achieve the necessary requirements for this job because I strongly believe that I can contribute to the company as well as grow in this position. I have worked under high pressure to finish work by deadline and can think logically about any problem to find a solution. I have obtained a lot of knowledge about reliability and teamwork and gave high regard for quality work done and timeliness. Thinking positively about work is essential, as well as believing in the work you do. One’s lifestyle should reflect such ideals, in my own case the fact that I not only partake in series of different activities, such as sports, culture and community projects but also worked in a demanding environment. In my working environment I have learned to manage my time and also to focus on key clients and full-filled their different business needs. I have learned to organize and stay calm in a crisis situation. I have excellent communication skills and love to interact with people but I have the self-discipline to work individually to effectively complete any given task.
