I am a BSc Honours Chemistry graduate and currently pursuing Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Stellenbosch University. I have laboratory research and analytical skill. I have conducted experiments independently using waste material (waste tyre) while ensuring that health and safety issues have adhered during experiments. I have a gained knowledge in polymers particularly polypropylene since it is part of my current master’s research project. I have also conducted both qualitative and quantitative analysis using analytical instruments. I have issued detailed analysis reports in time with the aid of experimental design method. I have instrumentation experience working with various analytical instruments such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Thermal Gravimetric Analysis. I also have a software skils such as Statistica analysis software, Thermo scientific FTIR OMNIC software, Thermal analysis software, Origin (Data Analysis and Graphic) software and Chem3D software.
