My name is Chumani Melane, a male born and raised in the Eastern Cape from a town called Mthatha. I am the second born of 5 siblings, growing up I was always active, outdoor, and quite crafty when it came to fixing objects. During my High School years as an extracurricular activity, I played cricket, soccer at St Martin's High School. After passing matric in Mthatha, I attended at coastal college and obtained a N4 and N5 in Civil engineering. And then upgraded my matric results at Zimele High School in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. I then applied for and was admitted to the Mangosuthu University of Technology for a full time National Diploma in Civil engineering, which I obtained on the 1 December 2017. The greatest aspect of my experience at Mangosuthu was the quality of technical training that we received. Technical work in a keen eye for detail, a quality I am confident I possess.
