I am an aspiring young Environmental health and safety officer and enthusiastic individual with a natural hunger to learn. I am desciplined, self-motivated, resilient and able to function in a group. I communicate well in both spoken and written form. I am an Environmental-Biological science graduate, I majored in microbiology and botany, I had ancillary modules such as South African Geology, Geology and the Environment. I did Occupational health and safety level 3 where OHS act 85 of 1993 was covered, fire fighting NQF level 2, first aid NQF level 1. I did online short courses on health and safety induction, COSHH risk assessor, MOOC spatial data science, afrialliance MOOC on social innovation in water and climate change MOOC cartography, AfriAliance MOOC on social innovation in water and climate change in Africa, and I also attended a Environmental management workshop where NEMA principles, EIA regulations, ECA, EMPr and national water act was covered. I am applying for the Environmental health and safety job post where I will apply my skills for the continuous improvement of your company, institution or department and this can in return help me kick start my career successfully.
