I have been an Operations Manager and Events coordinator With Diploma in Food and Beverage Management for six years coordinating events like Spar AGMs, spar women’s walks, Spar Functions at the Head offices, and well-known venues Like Grayville Race Course, The Globe at Sun Coast for four years, we work with RSL Foods at their Head office. One of my most proud moments is the management, with my team, the music festival ‘Durban Facts Rocks ‘for the last 2 years at the People's Park for 18000 people. In more detail in my attached C.V, my past work experience includes arranging functions for significant corporate clients, including Vodacom and Clover, which involved set-ups at malls and on beaches. A function will typically include the following tasks: • describing project scope, • dividing the project into tasks, • estimating resources and creating a resource plan, • developing a preliminary schedule and procedures, • identifying and assessing risk, • creating a budget, • setting a baseline project plan. I am hardworking and strive to deliver excellent customer service within budget constraints and given time-frames. I am accustomed to working long and flexible hours for an event to start up on time. Maintaining a high level of energy for all events is extremely important, as the quality of planning, organization, and time management is what can “make or break” an event. I have good communication and interpersonal skills. I have high ethical work standards and appreciate that good planning, organizational, and time management skills are vital to the success of events and business in general. The ability to multi-task and show initiative at all times is a passion. I am experienced in the ability to work under pressure and still produce good quality results timeously. I have excellent presentation and reporting skills and understand the business processes, particularly the need to work within budget and meet financial targets.
