Mr. Mabaso has 16 years of experience in Engineering Projects, He holds a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Tshwane University of Technology, as well a Practical Project Management Certificate from the UNISA Graduate School of Business. He has gained good knowledge of Engineering and Construction standards as a site Engineer in the Construction of the Aquarius Marikana Platinum Mine HDPE and Steel piping section. His past experience includes roles as a detailed Mechanical draughtsman, Project Engineer, Project Cost Estimator/ Controller and Project Leader in the Gas Plant Installation Projects. Since 2007 He has been a Cost Engineer in the MINING, POWER GENERATION and INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS and has worked on local and overseas Projects such as the Anglo Platinum projects, HS2 (UK), Highways England (UK), GAC mining project and Bakubung Platinum Project. Currently his purpose is providing Project Controls focusing on Cost Engineering and the Integration of Project Cost and Schedule, developing Project Coding structures (WBS, CBS and OBS). Aligning and improving Project Process and Procedures to ensure Project governance. His role includes Implementation and Training for the proper use of this high-end earned value cost tracking system and its interface with other project management software systems (e.g., SAP, Primavera P6)
