A graduate from the University of Johannesburg who majored in Psychology and Industrial Psychology. Her diversified work experience has refined her interpersonal, coordination, implementation, project management and administrative skills. Baphiwe is mature, hard-working, driven and focused. Her adaptability allows her to seamlessly meet the demands of any required designation. After graduating she ventured into the Human Resources department of MWEB (one of SA’s leading internet service provider). This was just the beginning of a multifarious career that saw her gaining relevant experience in trade marketing for British American Tobacco, managing and servicing a portfolio of over 20 retail establishments. She has also worked in the Advertising and Event Management space. A definite career highlights for her was working as Talent and Event Coordinator for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony Committee. This sparked a passion for managing projects which was coupled with a great opportunity to work for BWIRED where she initially coordinated then managed the infrastructure role out of an optic fiber network throughout 8 regions of the City of Johannesburg. She has also worked for TKDS properties in the capacity of Project Lead, overseeing the company’s service offerings such as property management and development from an operational and administrative perspective.
