am a qualified geologist, having attained both my BSc. degree in Geology and my BSc.(Hons) degree in Geology, the latter with particular emphasis on my Research which was on evaluation of Heavy mineral sands, where I was exposed in learning about almost all kinds of heavy minerals. I have a keen interest in the following fields: GEOPHYSICS, MINERALOGY, METAMORPHIC PETROLOGY ECONOMIC GEOLOGY, EXPLORATION GEOLOGY, PETROLEUM GEOLOGY, ENVIRONMENTAL GEOLOGY, MINING GEOLOGY, SEDIMENTOLOGY, ENVIRONMENTAL GEOCHEMISTRY, STRUCTURAL GEOLOGY, HYDROGEOLOGY, APPLIED GEOPHYSICS and GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING which I all did in my honour's degree as majors. I have an affinity for the field of large minerals, specifically gold, diamond, coal and platinum. Admittedly, my practical experience in the field of geology is limited, but I believe that the extensive knowledge I have acquired through theory and research will help me to develop and perfect my skills in the field. I am a diligent and dedicated team player who learns fast. I am also passionate about community development initiatives.
