Ashleigh Solomon is a registered dietitian with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) who completed her degree in 2018 at the University of Pretoria, with an honours’ in dietetics. She is currently doing her community service year at Tambo Memorial Hospital in Boksburg, Gauteng while studying part time through the HFPA to complete a Higher Certificate in Exercise Science. She has lectured at the HFPA about nutrition and healthy eating and is on the Association for Dietitians in South Africa (ADSA) committee for the Gauteng region for the 2019 to 2021 year. Ashleigh has an interest in eating disorders, nutrition for mental health, healthy eating and weight management, chronic diseases of lifestyle, nutrition during pregnancy, breastfeeding, personal training and sports nutrition.
