I am a qualified Biotechnologist (Masters degree) who worked for three years in the Biotechnology space and moved to the Financial Services sector (Long Term Insurance, Collective Investments and Employee Benefits) where I worked at various capacities for 18 years. I grew from being a Client Services Consultant to Team leader of an offshore Reconciliation and Financial Control team at Momentum Wealth (LISP) and a Change agent during a major restructure and rebranding of the organization. I have also worked as a Team leader of Retail New Business as well as Payroll & Switches teams at Alexander Forbes after three years of working as a Senior Administrator of an employee benefits team. Throughout these years I realized my passion and contribution I have made to people/employee development and decided to pursue a career in the skills development field. Consequently, I am now enrolled in the National Certificate: Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices and already certified as an assessor and skills development facilitator. I am very passionate about writing, research, workplace coaching and anything to do with leadership and people development.
