I am passionate about sustainability, environmentalism, and finding solutions to the ever-increasing food shortage problems we are facing. I entered the industry with a desire to make an impact and what better way than through something we all require every day - Food! I am well-practiced in Research, Laboratory Skills, Product Development, and Sensory Analysis, and have a love for delicious and nutritious food. I have a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology. My experience includes internships with Skinny Scoop and Fresh Beverages wherein I was tasked with new product development and improvement of existing products, development of HACCP protocols and processes, sensory analysis, and quality assurance as well as preparing specification sheets and food preparation documents for all the new products. I have a strong understanding of microbiology, chemical analysis, food chemistry, biochemistry, and food safety.
