I am a graduate currently holding a National Diploma in Tourism Management and have successfully completed my studies in December 2019. What highly motivated me to choose Tourism as a career path, was the deep passion and special interest that I have for the industry and working with people. From a young age, I have been exposed to the business environment where I have worked as a sales assistant, waitress and customer services champion at retail businesses during my free time and holiday breaks. As part of my studies, in 2018, I have also commenced with a six-month internship program where I was exposed to a formal office business environment, in which I worked as a junior travel consultant at a luxury safari tour operator. These experiences have equipped me with in-depth administrative, time management, sales, problem solving and networking skills to be highly competent and efficient in the service industry. I have extensive geographic knowledge of both domestic and international destinations, highly competent with computer application systems such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher as well as experience with client management systems and financial aspects. I have the ability to meet deadlines, often exceed expectations and constantly achieve results of great quality, as I personally push myself to reach my full potential in everything I do. I share a great love and special interest for the travel, entertainment and hospitality sector of the tourism industry. I have a bubbly and enthusiastic personality characterized by great communication and interpersonal skills and often find myself good at building and maintaining great relationships with people.
